Friday, December 19, is Christmas Song Night!

This is a call for participation!

1. Pick one or two songs from the list below.
2. Download the text file(s)...the files have lyrics and chords.
3. Let Del know which ones you're going to do and he'll post it on this page so there's no duplication.
4. Figure out the count of the song (if you're playing a C chord...how many beats do you play?). In the Mo'o songbook, this is what we do as boxes. Each box is worth either 2 or 4 beats. If the song is a waltz tempo, then each box would be worth either 3 or 6 beats. A Mo'o style song template is available below with font styles included. Otherwise, you could just put additional chord letters above the lyrics in the text file...each one equal to a certain number of beats (same thing as boxes).
5. If you get the song(s) done before the 19th, email them to Del and he'll post them on this page for download so people can print and bring them.
6. If you don't get the song(s) done by the 19th, then please bring at least 4 or 5 copies so people can share.

Come that Friday, you're in charge of leading your songs!
